Situated in Tokyo, 300 metres from Asakusa Fujiasama Shrine and 7.5 km from the centre, cyashitsu ryokan asakusa features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and an open-air bath. This 3-star ryokan offers a lift and full-day security. The ryokan has a hot tub and luggage storage space. Breakfast was great. However I would probably not return as I am interested to explore other properties and location.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. The hotel offers Japanese-style accommodation with a free private bath and free internet. We were welcomed most passionately after a long travel day which was so nice. The beds on the floor were very comfortable and we slept so well. The location is perfect for exploring the local area - quiet at night but 2 minutes to the bustling shopping areas and local tourist attractions. Lots of restaurants close by and a 5 min walk to the metro station. The private bath was a lovely treat. All staff had quite good english which is so helpful in Japan as many do not !

Nobori is situated in Ome, 42 km from Mount Takao, 43 km from Fuchu Park, and 44 km from Fuchu Art Museum. The 2-star ryokan has mountain views and is 41 km from Tamarokuto Science Center. The accommodation features a public bath, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. I liked that it was isolated from busy city Tokyo and that it was super close to nature and the mountain. The hospitality of the host was unmatched, the food dishes were delicious and hearty. I saw a tanuki the first day of the trip. It was an amazing day even when it’s rainy, because you can stay inside and relax.
