Sadly if there is chance to purchase milk/ yogurt after onsen, it will be perfect! The breakfast and dinner are nice too. Breakfast is semi-buffet with quite a lot of salad & drink provided. When we mentioned one of us has certain food allergy, the manager checked in details to ensure everything is alright.

It is set 3.9 km from Tobu Nikko Station and features a concierge service. The ryokan provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. My traveling companion is allergic to gluten and the personel put together a complete breakfast that suited their needs - gluten free bread, salad, dressings, etc. The personel was exceptionally good, great service, very kind and they even upgraded us to a bigger room free of charge when it wasn't booked anymore. Additionally, they offered to drive us to the local train station when we were leaving. The onsen baths were good, the location great, the local scenery was also perfect for a stroll. Overall a 11/10 experience, the personel service goes unmatched anything I have ever experienced during my travels.

It is located 18 km from Ungan-ji Temple and provides full-day security. This 5-star ryokan offers private entrance. Literally everything was perfect. The hospitality of the staff is unmatched !

You will find a shared bath with natural free-flowing hot spring water at the property. Hatago Nagomi provides a buffet breakfast, and guests can sample kaiseki mutli-course dinner or made with local produce. A la carte dinner can be requested on site. Great view of the lake from our 4th floor window with a sofa facing outside. Good food and staff. They spoke enough English and always had a smile. The parking is a little tight but we parked in the back on a much less busy street. Walked along the lake and to kegon falls.

The property was the nicest at the lake. Onsen was nice and after there is a nice lounge to relax in. The half board gave you a delicious dinner with all the drinks you want, they had decent sake and beer available. Breakfast was good as well. Room was large with a view of the lake.The staff helped us with anything we needed and they were very sweet to us.
