Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. Very friendly staff and communication in English was easy with them. The rooms are very traditional and make it easy to experience Japanese culture. The private onsen was also a great experience. The location was very easy to access by bus with the bus stops right in front of the hotel.

Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. the hotel facilities were great , the room was huge ; there is free shutteles from the hotel to the train station

The hotel is stunning, and the room we had was amazing .. we stayed in the Japanese West wing. The room contained four different pairs of footwear and so many gadgets, sadly more than we could take advantage of. We dressed in traditional garments for meals and enjoyed the hot spring bath. We could not fault the room, the staff or the quality of the exceptional food experience. Everyone was wonderful.

It was located in a quiet and peaceful area. The room was very clean, and spacious. The onsen, though small, was comfortable and lovely. The hotel manager really helped by recommending an itinerary and provided us with a lot of useful information. He was also a lovely man to have a chat with. Very kind and considerate.

The staff were friendly and made sure that we were comfortable. They went out of their way to learn about us and teach us some cultural lessons. Oh and if you book the private onsen room, it is soooo nice!

Different kinds of private baths are available to the guests without reservation, the common baths are also quite nice. I recommend including the kaiseki dinner in your reservation, it was a great experience.

Situated in Tokyo, within 1.5 km of Sensoji Temple and 2.2 km of Tokyo Skytree, Ryokan Nakadaya offers accommodation with a shared lounge. The owner gives you lots of information and takes personally great care of you, is more than just fiendly. I have made a little too much shopping in Japan and he helped me carry my luggages with a cart for 15 minutes to the far end of the train station.
