Staff was helpful and understanding of the language barrier. Let us drop our bags off early before check-in. Great food and service for both supper and breakfast. Nice big room for the two of us. They were nice enough to order our taxi for us the morning we left so we didn't have to worry about hiking back to the train (or bus) station.

The picturesque Japanese-style guest house 1日1組のお客様を御迎えする宿Hotobil An inn that welcomes one group of guests per day is centrally located in Nara, 10 minutes by taxi from JR Nara Station. Very friendly and helpful host, served us a wonderful shaved ice and tea on arrival and went out of her way to explain how everything's works and how to get to places. Then we were served a delicious breakfast before checking out. A family atmosphere which we enjoyed very much, would highly recommend.

Kasuga Hotel er í 2 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Kintetsu-Nara-lestarstöðinni, í 5 mínútna fjarlægð með leigubíl frá JR Nara-lestarstöðinni og í 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Kofuku-ji-hofinu. One of the best place we stay at. The services provided by the hotel, and the very nice hotel staff were top notch. The in room private onsen, and the public one was excellent. We stayed in a Japanese style room, love all the detail of the corridor and the style. We especially enjoy the half board meals provided. I recommend anyone stay there to get it. I’ll definitely come back again if I’m visiting Nara again. Hotel is located very close to the train station and buses are easy walk to.

Tsukihitei er staðsett í Kasugayama Primeval-skóginum, sem er á heimsminjaskrá UNESCO. absolutely brilliant property. secluded and peaceful. exquisitely furnished and appointed ryokan.

Kanko Ryokan Yamato er staðsett í Ikoma, aðeins 8,8 km frá Iwafune-helgiskríninu og býður upp á gistirými með borgarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Beautiful place line from a Ghibli movie. Lovely owners and 2 funny dogs. My son was happy to play with them. If you come by car pls park on the big free parking Before entering Ikoma village. Then walk 3 min ( by stairs) to the Ryokan.

The location was picturesque and overall incredibly pleasant to look around at. The property itself is very well maintained, truly delivers the classic ryokan experience, onsen are amazing and very enjoyable, the staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The food was something else - both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were delicious, filling and a great pleasure to partake in. Overall, would highly recommend, I had a blast staying at Kadojin.

The meals are the best of our whole trip in Japan. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is nested by the creek yet right across the street from the bus stop. The location is perfect. The host gave us a ride to the nearby public Onsen and gave us a tour to the Tenkawa Daibenziten-Sha Shrine, where the Emperor of the Southern Court had lived around 700 years ago. We took a less than two-hour scenic hike to the Dorogawa Onsen village, and 25 minutes bus back. Loved their private bath which includes both indoor and outdoor tubs all to yourself but needs to book with the host.

Kakimotoya er staðsett nálægt Shigi-fjalli, í 10 mínútna fjarlægð með leigubíl frá JR Oji-lestarstöðinni. We were pleasantly surprised by the meals provided at the Ryokan. Meals were beautifully prepared. We didn't get to experience the bath but we hope to next time. Very clean, comfortable, and accommodating. The staff were all so kind.
