Breakfast and dinner was superb with excellent service. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. The rooms were spacious and the view amazing. This is truly a dream come true kind of hotel.

This was a true, bonafide, traditional Japanese ryokan experience! There is so much history that it justifies the facilities being older. The whole experience was wonderful, especially the kind and excellent staff.

I was fascinated by Cape Muroto. I wanted to day off from walking and took it in Muroto. I chose the only open place and it was beyond expectations. The Ashford Castle of Kochi! In an excellent location, easy walking distance from the city center, but a bit off the main drag so slightly quieter and more peaceful. The river in front is really beautiful. The staff were very kind and the breakfast was great. The communal bath is very simple but nice. Would recommend.
