Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. The hotel itself is absolutely exceptional, and probably the most impressive luxury hotel I've ever stayed. If you enjoy the history exploration and the Japanese-western style, Fujiya definitely will be a great fit. The hotel finished its renovation 2 years ago and everything is in good condition. You can experience its glory and rich history since the majority of areas are free to explore for staying guests. (Do not miss its museum, library and garden. The swimming pool is a bit small, and personally I quite enjoyed its style.) In fact, my friends and I spent so much time exploring the hotel itself, the time spent in Fujiya hotel eventually became the highlight of our Hakone trip.

Set in Hakone, 8.3 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Hakone Gora KARAKU offers accommodation with a sauna, a hot spring bath and a public bath. mistakenly booked our hotel room for the next day of our stay. However, the staff was so accommodating that they allowed us to check in on the day we arrived instead. This was truly amazing, as otherwise we would have had to spend the day on the street.

Hot Spring Inn Hakone Suisen offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 4.2 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station and 3.6 km of Kowakudani Station. Super clean, the Servus is exceptional great, felt very welcomed and they made sure to answer every question I had. Would definitely recommend if you want a spot to relax for a couple days in their in-house onsen!

Situated in Hakone, 8.7 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Suiun provides accommodation with a sauna, a hot spring bath and a public bath. Amazing room with a private hot spring water bathtub. Different kinds of private baths are available to the guests without reservation, the common baths are also quite nice. I recommend including the kaiseki dinner in your reservation, it was a great experience.

May mga tanawin ng hardin, ang Hakone Retreat Villa 1/f ay matatagpuan sa Hakone at may restaurant, 24-hour front desk, bar, hardin, at terrace. The place is beautiful! The staff greeted us with a warm smile and were super curtious. They upgraded our room and it was a great treat. The place is super clean. The hot tub was hot and cozy. We highly recommend it!!!

Hakone Yuyado Zen in Hakone provides adults-only accommodation with an open-air bath, a garden and a terrace. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The room is spacious and clean. Staffs are attentive and friendly. Dinner and breakfast are included. Dinner is a 10 course meal like fine dining and breakfast is a big spread as well. We are shocked by the amount of the food but all are delicious and we finished everything. They also give a small surprised by giving my sister a small cake at the end of the 10 course meal as is my sis’s birthday. So nice of them. Will come back again.
