Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. The hotel itself is absolutely exceptional, and probably the most impressive luxury hotel I've ever stayed. If you enjoy the history exploration and the Japanese-western style, Fujiya definitely will be a great fit. The hotel finished its renovation 2 years ago and everything is in good condition. You can experience its glory and rich history since the majority of areas are free to explore for staying guests. (Do not miss its museum, library and garden. The swimming pool is a bit small, and personally I quite enjoyed its style.) In fact, my friends and I spent so much time exploring the hotel itself, the time spent in Fujiya hotel eventually became the highlight of our Hakone trip.

However, the staff was so accommodating that they allowed us to check in on the day we arrived instead. This was truly amazing, as otherwise we would have had to spend the day on the street.

Super clean, the Servus is exceptional great, felt very welcomed and they made sure to answer every question I had. Would definitely recommend if you want a spot to relax for a couple days in their in-house onsen!

Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan är ett 3-stjärnigt boende beläget i Hakone, 6,2 km från Hakone-Yumoto station och 48 km från Shuzenji-templet. It was located in a quiet and peaceful area. The room was very clean, and spacious. The onsen, though small, was comfortable and lovely. The hotel manager really helped by recommending an itinerary and provided us with a lot of useful information. He was also a lovely man to have a chat with. Very kind and considerate.

Different kinds of private baths are available to the guests without reservation, the common baths are also quite nice. I recommend including the kaiseki dinner in your reservation, it was a great experience.

The staff greeted us with a warm smile and were super curtious. They upgraded our room and it was a great treat. The place is super clean. The hot tub was hot and cozy. We highly recommend it!!!

Hakone Yuyado Zen ligger i Hakone, 16 km från Hakone-Yumoto station, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. The room is spacious and clean. Staffs are attentive and friendly. Dinner and breakfast are included. Dinner is a 10 course meal like fine dining and breakfast is a big spread as well. We are shocked by the amount of the food but all are delicious and we finished everything. They also give a small surprised by giving my sister a small cake at the end of the 10 course meal as is my sis’s birthday. So nice of them. Will come back again.
