The food was amazing, quality and quantity. It seemed like the longer we stayed, the more we were treated. The private onsen rooms were fabulous, too. We went several times each day!

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Great rooms in a peaceful setting. Dinner and breakfast superb. Staff lovely. Wine was a very reasonable cost

If you are looking for a grand experience in a historic property - this is the place. What made this property exceptional is attention to detail such as lighting of the room, freshly made espresso, foot bath overlooking the garden, a massage chair, amongst others. The food was splendid, the service is polite and staff treats you with care. The experience felt elevated as compared to other ryokans I was staying.

Boasting a seasonal outdoor pool and natural hot spring baths, Shodoshima International Hotel is ideally located just a 3-minute walk from a popular sightseeing spot Angel Road. The location of the property is excellent. Close to the pier and next to the Angel Road. The dinner and breakfast is very good with a fair price. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful.

A 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Train Station, Kotosankaku Hiten provides Japanese rooms with traditional futon beds and Konpira Mountain views. Kaiseki dinner was excellent. It would be helpful for some type of translation on what the food is and how to eat in a prepared written form in English. Service was great. Breakfast had quite a good selection. Location is definitely a great plus, only 3-5 minutes on foot from the train station.

Kikuya Ryokan berlokasi di Tonosho, berjarak 2,5 km dari Honkaku-ji Temple dan 3,1 km dari Tomioka Hachiman Shrine. Great value for money, located right by the port, with great access to the rest of the island. The host was friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to help, despite the langugage barrier (which with a little google translate, really isn't so much a barrier nowadays anyway). Also, I received a free room upgrade! Who can complain!

Yunaginoyu Hotel Hanajyukai berlokasi di Takamatsu, 3,7 km dari Liminal Air-core Takamatsu dan 3,7 km dari Sunport Fountain. The staff are exceptionally nice. They tried the best to make me feel like home and they made it. They speak Japanese slowly with gesture so that even a foreigner can understand and appreciate. The bath facilities are so good that I can do that all day.
