Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. The serenity, on the ocean but slightly away from the business. Nice room, good amenities and delicious dinner and breakfast. Staff was incredible and we rented bikes to get us around for only ¥500!

Oyado Tsukiusagi offers Japanese-style rooms and free WiFi, within a 10-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine. Some rooms come with sea views, and all have a private bathroom. It was really easy to find and conveniently located. The Japanese style room was really comfortable. The owner is so kind and friendly. She kept our bags for us so we could do some more exploring before catching the ferry back and gave us little Christmas gifts when we left which was a lovely gesture. One of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Great location, pick up at ferry station and a lift back.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Conveniently and calm location. The food was exceptional and a highlight of our stay. After visiting the island, the onsen offers a good chance to relax.

Only a 1-minute walk from Miyajima Ferry Terminal, Yamaichi Bekkan features accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Yukata robes are provided for all guests. The host was very kind and the food was very very good. The room had a nice view too!

As I was by myself in a 10 tatami room it was absolutely amazing. The nicely separated private toilet and wash basin is also very beneficial. The bath, although shared within the ryokan, can be requested for time to yourself, which again for one person is absolutely massive. I had requested for dinner late on the check in day, and was accomondated for very helpingly. The food is a fantastic ~7 course Japanese feast for dinner, and 5-8 dishes for breakfast (depending on who you ask for what one dish is). The staff are extremely helpful with good English, and was more than accomondating with mw trying out my garbage Japanese skills. solid 10/10 would stay again next time I'm here.

Located in Onomichi, within 4.9 km of Saikokuji Temple and 5 km of MOU Onomichi City University Art Museum, Ryokan Onomichi Nishiyama provides accommodation with a garden as well as free private... From the moment we were first welcomed to this Ryokan we experienced an exceptionally warm, friendly and professional service from all members of the team. Rooms were beautiful and spacious. The private bathroom was wonderful. The restaurant really completed the experience - top quality food complimented (in our case) by a wine pairing. Dinner is strongly influenced by French cooking but with a Japanese twist. We were seated looking on to the open kitched with great interaction with the team of chefs. This was our last stop in our 28 day trip to Japan and was one of the very best. We took the breakfast plus dinner option and for the quality would consider it excellent value. A definite recommendation to anyone
