They had a shampoo/conditioner bar at the lobby where you could put some in a little container to take with you to try. In the lobby they had ukatas that you could wear. The onsen was fantastic with 4 different baths: the large hot bath, one with jets, one that was cold, and one outside. We had a tatami mat room with a bathroom and a shower. The futons were already laid out for us when we arrived in the room. Having free parking is a plus. Breakfast was awesome with our table already prepared with a large bento box and other items that were buffet style. We enjoyed out stay here.

So close to the ferry terminal which made it a great choice as we were coming back from Naoshima on the last high-speed boat. The whole guesthouse had lots of art-related and Takamatsu-related flyers which was fun. Easy check-in and out and the man managing the front desk was very friendly (bonus or warning depending on you: two cats in the check-in room!). The yukatas were very comfy and the edging of the tatami mats were Yayoi Kusama-pumpkin themed which was a fun touch, as was the keychain on our key!IsabelYoung couple
