Tucked away in the national park, Auberge Ninguruforet is a group of lodge sets surrounded by nature in Biei. Free WiFi is provided in all area.

There is a private bathroom with bath in all units, along with free toiletries and a hairdryer.

Beautiful wooden cabins tucked away in the forest. If you’re looking for a place to stay that is near the Blue Pond/Shirahige Falls/Tokachidake, I recommend staying here. It’s very peaceful and is hidden from the main road, though you may need a car to access it. The cabins are lovely and very private. They have windows overlooking the trees, where you can watch birds in the early morning. The owners are very welcoming, and provided complimentary tea and biscuits in the cabin. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for hosting us!

Located a 30-minute drive from JR Kamifurano Train Station, Taisetsuzan Shiroganekankou Hotel offers 8 public hot spring baths and free Wi-Fi at the lobby.

Air conditioned rooms feature an en suite bathroom, a seating area and a flat-screen TV. Each comes with free toiletries, Yukata robes and a green tea set.

Excellent location by the falls and the Blue Pond, easy access, as well as for visiting the area. We had a car but if you request ahead of time they have a shuttle. This is an older traditional inn with a great open-air bath. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, all works well. Staff is friendly and helpful, spoke some English. Price is reasonable. Food was ok. We were a little worried because of negative reviews but then it was a good surprise! We would definitely go back and recommend this hotel.

I wish I could have stayed longer at Yumoto Onsen Hotel. It is classy but also comfortable, a great combination for relaxation. I particularly liked the sitting in the outdoor onsen at night surrounded by rock and snow, soaking in volcanic water listening to the blue Shirogane Waterfall, magical!

The hot spring is good! We enjoyed the hot spring facilities, wearing yukata and the dinner spread is acceptable. It is very near to the beautiful Shirahige waterfalls. Shuttle bus is provided from the Biei Station - just remember to pre book with the hotel.
