Only a 2-minute walk from JR Aomori Train Station, Iroha Ryokan offers simple Japanese-style rooms with a flat-screen TV. Japanese Yukata robes are provided for all guests and free parking is available.

I really like that it is so near the station and that it is reasonably priced. The owner is very accommodating and it feels like going home. My room is clean and I love the complimentary snacks, soup and tea.

At the ryokan, rooms come with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Rooms are equipped with a shared bathroom, while some feature a sea view. All rooms will provide guests with a fridge.

If you like Japanese food, onsen, quiet atmosphere, than stay here on meal inclusive rate. I did nothing but relaxing, since there is not much to do in this small village, outskirts of City of Aomori.

Very nice ryokan, with good private and public onsen available. The room was more than enough, with fresh towels and yukata each day I stayed. The staff were very nice, and I was able to ask them about certain things with combinations of English, Japanese and translation apps. I got injured before coming here sp the location is a bit far away from things, but very close to the station (2 minutes?). Note: not a negative as I chose this location because of the location originally.

The woman who runs the inn is a sweetheart! I arrived in the traditional tatami-mat and futon room which was a great experience already and there were a yukata, chocolates and a thermos of hot water and green tea packets awaiting me (which were refilled everyday, as they cleaned the room!)

Location is great! A few steps from the train station. Our room is Japanese style with sea view. Dinner was superb! They served Japanese traditional food set with wagyu and seafood buffet. Breakfast's buffet lines were impressive as well!! Onsen has two big indoor pools and one outdoor pool. Hot spring water is also serviced at our room's bath tub!! We were very happy!!!

Lovely welcoming staff Very kind and helpful at all times if we had questions. Were able to reserve the onsen downstairs on both nights at a chosen time, and at one stage we had a short onsen in upstairs one (not reserved). Basic in room facility with own toilet and basin (cold water). Make sure you have any showering or bathing done before 8.30am or after lunch time, otherwise you’ll be sponge bathing in morning in the room, with cold water. Really comfortable beds. Beautiful tatami flooring. Nice view also.

The location was excellent - very close to Aomori station and the Nebuta Museum! The staff was also very helpful when explaining things to me. As well, the room had a very Japanese style, and the yukata provided was very cute! Finally, the futon bed on the tatami was much softer than other futons that I have slept on during my trips in Japan, so I was pleasantly surprised.

The owner allowed us to drop our bags before and after check in and out so we could see the town unhindered. She was very nice to us for the whole stay. We stayed in the tatami mat room. The mats were new and felt luxurious. The futon s were so comfortable we almost decide to no show a different hotel so we could stay at Iroha longer. The bathroom was clean and relaxing to use. It is spacious enough for a family all at once. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Large and very varied Onsen (hot spring), with multiple types of mineral waters and relaxation spaces. tasty breakfast, with a self-service bar containing a variety of healthy & local foods as well as standard "English Breakfast" options... good areas to relax in, and generally a gentle and modern but slightly traditional atmosphere. good set of facilities right next to the hotel, such as restaurants and a traditional fish-market within a few buildings of the entrance.
