Situated in Kapaa, Kauai Shores Hotel is an oceanfront hotel that features a private beach, a beachfront restaurant, and a 6-acre tropical courtyard complete with 2 outdoor pools. We had a great say at Kauai Shores! Good location, welcoming staff and lovely views. Free yoga in the morning, bikes you can rent, small gift shop and a great restaurant with live music in the afternoon and at night.

The Club Wyndham Ka Eo Kai is 3.2 km from Hanalei Beach Park. It features an outdoor pool, a hot tub, tennis courts and an on-site business centre. Lovely ocean view, beautiful sea breeze every day. Really spacious apartment, right next to the pool. We really enjoyed our stay here and would have stayed longer!

Less than 1 mile from Poipu Beach Park and Shipwreck Beach, this 70-acre resort at the southern tip of Kauai features outdoor pools and apartments with full kitchens. Front Desk Staff (Mae and Kaysha) were exceptionally helpful--always smiling/friendly, gave good advice re: places to go, dining, etc.---They were amazing! When there were technical problems in the room (TV, internet, etc.), and maintenance was called, they came in record time (usually 5 minutes or less!!)--have been places where you wouldn't get service for a day or two--this was exceptional service! Liked that you could get DVDs to watch for free--provided something to do in the evenings.

Surrounded by tropical gardens and offering direct beach access, the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beach Boy features spacious condo-style accommodations along with on-site spa services and dining. Location is great, but the best was the garden and the ocean nearby. You can hear the ocean just sitting in your room with open door.
