The staff were excellent, they did not deduct any resort fee and the parking was free. The pool, hot bath and surroundings were extremely clean. The room, bathroom etc was clean and the room had a balcony facing the garden. All together, it exceeded our expectations.

Charming collection of old cottages on site fronting a quiet beach. The cottages are all slightly different, but well equipped, comfortable and clean. It is charming and understated . The details on the Booking.com site really undersell the property. There are beautiful sunsets and the grounds are lovely to walk in. The property does have an independently run restaurant and bar on site. Close to the Waimea Canyon, so you can get a morning head start on other visitors.

Standing on the shores of the Coconut Coast of Kauai, Aston Islander On The Beach features a white sand beach, an oceanfront pool and ad hot tub. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Shanon was a sweetheart. We received a little welcome gift for our honeymoon. The room was nice. The beach is close and good for swimming.

Less than 1 mile from Poipu Beach Park and Shipwreck Beach, this 70-acre resort at the southern tip of Kauai features outdoor pools and apartments with full kitchens. Front Desk Staff (Mae and Kaysha) were exceptionally helpful--always smiling/friendly, gave good advice re: places to go, dining, etc.---They were amazing! When there were technical problems in the room (TV, internet, etc.), and maintenance was called, they came in record time (usually 5 minutes or less!!)--have been places where you wouldn't get service for a day or two--this was exceptional service! Liked that you could get DVDs to watch for free--provided something to do in the evenings.

Nestled on 35-acres of lush tropical gardens and directly on Poipu Beach, this oceanfront property features easy access to a variety of recreational beach activities and has an on-site swimming beach.... We had the most amazing stay at Kiahuna Plantation. The apartment was perfect for 2 - fully equipped with everything we needed, spacious rooms, and the balcony overlooking the beautiful garden with view of the ocean. It was one of the buildings closest to the main road, but was still pretty calm and quiet. The beach was a 3-min walk through the resort, and we also had Poipu beach just 5-10 mins away on foot. The cafe across the road served us well, and the proximity of the shopping village was also very convenient. The access to the athletic club was also nice to have.

The hotel is right at the beach and our 2nd floor apartment was the third away from the ocean but had a good sea view and one could hear the waves (as well as chicken, as Kauai is the Garden and Chicken Island of Hawaii - they are simply everywhere). The big pool area was very nice and well-maintained. The appartment was sufficiently equipped for preparing and eating food in the apartment. The airport is not far but beware of the rush hour on workdays - in the morning to Lihue and in the afternoon from Lihue. All attractions are easy to reach by car and/or a bit of hiking but depening on traffic, you better plan a day trip if you are going all north (Tunnels Beach, etc.) or south (especially Waimea Canyon). The shopping center next door is convenient and supermarkets are not far away.
