Brown Cabin Chocolate Cafe is the place for chocolate lovers serving a variety of chocolate drinks. Situated among the lush tropical woods and rose garden, this hidden cafe is known to be one of Baan Ploy Sea's most instagrammable spots. Apart from various chocolate drinks, the cafe serves up barista coffees, herbal cold brew teas, and freshly baked desserts for cafe hoppers to enjoy. On arrival Ying kindly showed us rooms and helped with our choice a lovely Seaview room. All the restaurant, cleaning staff and reception went out of their way to be helpful.

The accommodation offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. Very cute place. Has everything you could need - private room, comfortable bed, private bathroom, 3 minute walk to the one of the more private beaches on the island, free breakfast. So much for such a basic price. Great restaurant just down the street on the beach (Reef Bar) and just a 20 min walk to main beach. Breakfast had much more variety than expected - eggs, toast, rice, pancakes, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, OJ.

All units in the inn are equipped with a flat-screen TV. At Blue Moon Samed every room comes with bed linen and towels. The staff spoke good English and were extremely helpful. Free scooter's made our trip, got to see all the island. Room was comfortable and had everything you could want including a very extensive information guide 😉

Guests can sample fine International and Asian dishes at GrandBlue Restaurant which is adjacent to a large outdoor pool on site. Excellent location, breakfast good. Staff very friendly and attentive. The pool is massive and always clean. Our room was outstandingly clean every day. Very hard working staff. Local restaurants with next door and also within half an hour’s walk left of the hotel. Didn’t try the restaurant on site so couldn’t comment.

It is a short stroll from Sai Kaew Beach, as well as various restaurants, bars and a 24-hour convenience store. The island's main pier is a 5-minute ride away. In short, everything. The staff are all very kind and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location is great--peaceful and quiet, save for the obnoxious snorkel tour boats that tie up off the beach and blare extremely loud music for no reason, which is no fault of the property.

The resort is a 10-minute drive to Sai Keaw Beach, Ao Prao Beach and Nah Dan Pier. It is a 1.5-hr drive from Pattaya and 2.5-hr drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Bangkok is a 3-hr drive away. We rented two bungalows (a deluxe one and a standard one), both comfortable and well equipped, spotlessly cleaned every day. The staff was super nice and efficient, taking care of guests needs. Food in the restaurant was good, including the New Year buffet, good value for money. Breakfast had an ample choice of savory Western and Asian options and fruit (adding a couple of sweets would be great). The beach was clean and beautiful with an ample swimming area cordoned off so boats could not approach. The owner / manager was personally overseeing, enquiring about each and every guest wellbeing and solving any issue with a care, attentiveness and efficiency you would find in a 5 stars hotel.

A 10-minute drive from Ban Phe, the resort is equipped with a spa, three outdoor pools and a fitness centre. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Most of all I liked the staff. The kind staff, especially in the restaurant, makes your day. Everything is nice and clean, the bed is comfortable, the pool and sea are amazing, best sea view I have ever seen. The food is extremely good and I also liked the facilities for kids. The room is a bit old but clean. I recommend this resort if you plan to visit Rayong.
