Surrounded by meadows and fields, Bed and Breakfast Valjavec is located in the village of Ilovka, 3 km from the centre of Kranj. Brdo Castle is only 800 metres away. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are provided. Everything was above my expectations. The property is located in a green area with clean air and gorgeous view to the mountains. Entire property was very clean, room was cosy and nice smelling, bed and pillows very comfortable allowing to feel rested even after just couple of hours of sleeping. The host is very nice, stepping up to help with everything I needed. I could feel relaxed even I was in a business trip. I enjoyed so much staying there and I will definitely choose it again next time when I will go to Brdo pri Kranju.

Located in the pedestrian area of the historic centre of Kranj, the 4-star Hotel Actum is a small boutique hotel decorated in a romantic neo-Baroque style. Inspired by famous actors, the rooms feature Rolls-Royce decorations. Free Wi-Fi is available. The staff were very helpful and hospitable. Since we had an early checkout they had nicely packed the breakfast for us. The hotel is in pristine condition with all modern amenities. Also, its located in the downtown area and 10 minutes from airport.

Located just 800 metres from the nearest access to E61 Motorway and a 5-minute drive to Ljubljana Airport, this cosy bed and breakfast is set in an 18th-century farmhouse in the village of Voglje and offers free Wi-Fi. Excellent location and brilliant hosts. Breakfast is great and prepared for each guest individually.

Location was perfect, that is the biggest advantage of this hotel, ski in ski out. Great bar outside, in front of the hotel.

You can also rent a car and venture out to discover Slovenia. Had such a lovely weekend here. We came the last weekend of March and split our time hiking and skiing. Although it was the last weekend for skiing (hence very slushy conditions), the location between the nearby resort of Krvavec and nearby mountains for hiking was ideal. The room was spacious and clean. Although the hotel is on a main street, everything was very quiet. They have a lovely dining room where we had delicious breakfast and dinner. They also have an outside patio that is perfect for Spring and Summer. Additionally, there is ample parking. I will definitely return!
