Really wonderful place. The little family apartment/room was perfect for a family of four. I can’t say enough about how peaceful the location is— lake beach right at the doorstep, a ferry right around the corner to get to a different part of the lake. We saw deer, foxes, and a boar just driving in and out of the island. Breakfast was served at our convenience and was extensive for an inn. The owners were also quite kind and patient with our children who had spent too much time cooped up in the car and sought to explore the grounds.

The location at the lake is stunning, very quiet, the lake clean and fresh. The kids loved to use the SUP and to swim. The cottages are small but perfectly organized. You find everything you need. It was our happy place.

This family-owned hotel is centrally located in the coastal town of Västervik, only 150 metres from the Västervik train station. It offers free Wi-Fi access. I booked a single room, but got I big one with double bed. The lady at reception was very polite. Bathroom is big and modern. Location is great. Very close to bus station.
