A shame we were only staying one night otherwise we could have explored more. Food excellent. As we were catching an early ferry the restaurant provided an excellent packed breakfast and hot drinks. Situated in central Östhammar, Johanssons Gårdshotell offers free Wi-Fi and tastefully decorated rooms with a TV and private bathroom with shower. We arrived very late, left very early in the morning, came back again very late and finally left very early. Getting keys and departing the hotel was well arranged.

Good location, beautiful aesthetic, both inside and outside.i will be staying again. And will recommend to friends and family.

Located on the island of Grinda in Stockholm’s archipelago, this guest house is a 90-minute ferry ride to the city’s centre. Beautiful old world building with nice cabins with multiple rooms. Location is superb. Staff? I want to move there and work on the team! they seem so happy. Swimming and a Private sauna (rented) on the Baltic Sea? Yes please. I’ll never forget you Grinda

Excellent location on a little island with historic castle, museum, armaments, wildlife and great views. Lots to explore and enjoy around the castle grounds. Spacious comfortabe rooms. Old world atmosphere and aromas. Fantastic breakfast which included lovely freshly baked breads.
