Maven Kustnära Stugor cottages are situated in the woods just 300 metres from the Baltic Sea, about 1 km from Kappelshamn in northern Gotland. Maven is a hidden, secret paradise. You really don't know you're there until you see your parking spot. All the cabins are off gravel paths, so they have helpful wagons to aid in getting your things to the cabins. Our cabin was very modern and comfortable, with a great kitchen, bathroom, living room and deck. The hosts Anne and Stefan are very welcoming, extremely generous with their time and rightly proud of their creation. There is no way to describe the setting, with walkways leading to all the different buildings open to guests. Anne led us on a tour of the grounds, while Stefan shared some construction tips and showed off one of his new cabins opening soon. This is the kind of place that makes you want to cancel the rest of your plans and stay put. We just happened to choose Kappelshamn as a stopping point on a bike journey, and we feel very lucky to have found Maven.

This hotel is housed in a medieval, 13th-century building, only 100 metres from Visby Cathedral. Free WiFi is offered. Everything, the service, the location, the rooms, the breakfast. Just pure joy. We will definitely stay here the next time.

Kalk Hotel is boutique hotel located on Strandgatan, in a beautiful building from the 17th century, carefully renovated with a stylish interior and Gotland details. Great design and attention to small details in the hotel. Breakfast was very good 👌 Would definitely stay there again 👏🏽

Smakrike Krog & Logi is housed in an old trade house from the 1860s in Ljugarn, Swedens oldest seaside resort. It offers individually decorated rooms and suites inspired by the nearby surroundings. Fabulous breakfast, had a wonderful time, the hotel's restaurant has a great menu, very inventive cuisine, excellent wines and really good advice on which one would go with the selected food. Room was excellent of a comfortable size it takes some stairs to get there but if you have no problem with that do not hesitate to book.

Just 8 minutes’ walk from Visby Harbour and the ferry terminal, this quiet hotel offers individually decorated rooms with free WiFi access. The greenery of the Palissad Park is right next door. A great variety of food during breakfast; wonderful views to the park and old city centre. Highly recommended.
