Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. Great hotel! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite comfortable with possibly the best bed we slept on during our month long trip. Bathroom was clean, and the balcony was a nice addition. Great AC. Parking was easy and close. This hotel has the best, most elaborate breakfast I’ve ever experienced. It was delicious and filling and varied. We loved the beach club area, though would recommend water shoes as the beach is quite rocky. Would gladly stay here again.

The 4-star Aqua Natura Madeira offers elegant rooms with Atlantic Ocean views in the fishing village of Porto Moniz, 45 km north of Funchal city centre. It offers a sauna on site. The view from the room was exceptional. The breakfast was an outstanding combination of American and Continental.

Teresa is a very welcoming person. We like our stay a lot. Bed is very comfortable. The room and facilities are very clean. Breakfast is just great and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Highly recommended.

Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. The nature of hotel is insane. I liked our stay and the staff was very friendly . We booked for a wrong day and they still accommodate us without penaltyis. Thank you for everything.

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. Honestly everything! Maybe one of the best hotel stays ever. The sun deck balcony is amazing place to relax and chill, the hotel staff is great, the views stunning. Can’t wait to come back!

Everything about this place was absolutely perfect: staff, spa, food, restaurant, rooms, views... We are so happy because we stayed here.

Set in Funchal, 17 km from Marina do Funchal, Quinta Paços do Lago offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. This was a wonderful choice for our stay our week in Maderia, which threw everything it had at us including an earthquake (which our room handled perfectly). The breakfast was a great start to each day, the room was comfortable and spacious, and our hosts couldn't have been any more accommodating. The location is also perfect for anyone that wants to be close to the island's most beautiful sites. We arrived at our room very late, and Duarte was there to greet us.

Set in Ponta do Pargo, in the west side of Madeira Islands Region, 35 km from Funchal, Casas da Levada boasts an outdoor pool and views of the sea. Free private parking is available on site. The breakfast was great - we all agreed the eggs were the best we’d ever had. The property was completely stunning, and our house individually blew us away with beautiful interior design and sun-splashed open spaces. Would recommend to everyone!

Food in the restaurant is delicious and is not overpriced. Infinity pool with a view, hot tub and pool bar. Staff is super friendly.
