Casas dos Carregais is situated in Carregais, 25 km from Proença a Nova and 35 km from Castelo Branco. Vila Velha de Ródão is 28 km from the property. We were very comfortable here in this quiet village. The beds are comfortable and the place was very clean. We all enjoyed exploring and hiking around, including our 12 and 16 year old kids. We devoured the daily fresh bread. Olga and Roy were helpful and friendly. We had a delicious meal at Casa Ti Augusta.

Set within 22 km of Coimbra Football Stadium and 23 km of S. Sebastião Aqueduct in Lousã, Quinta de Vale Escuro provides accommodation with seating area. We enjoyed the quiet countryside where Quinta de Vale Escuro is located and the beautiful property. We also enjoyed the swimming pool each afternoon. Our hosts were very accommodating, despite our language challenges. Thank goodness for Google Translate! One last note - our previous accommodation was canceled by the host due to illness, and this booking was accepted with only one hour notice. We are very grateful for that!

Offering an outdoor pool and an indoor hydromassage pool, Cerca Design House is located in Fundão. Free WiFi access is available in this accommodation. Amazing place, quiet and peaceful. The staff is always friendly (I’ve stayed at this property several times already), and the breakfast is amazing.

Mountain Whisper is a group of rustic houses that offers complete tranquillity and privacy. Entering this ancient xisto town with its steeps hills and adorable cobble stoned streets was incredible. Cars are parked at the entrance of the village, and we proceeded on foot for the next 100 meters to get to the room. It felt like traveling 100 years back into time, it was fantastic. The elevation of the location is pretty high, which means the views of the surrounding area are breathtaking. All you will hear here are birds chirping and the rustle of leaves. The staff is very welcoming and everyone made sure our room was tidy, and that we had everything we needed. The breakfast options are numerous and the quality was very good. Having access to a pool was refreshing in the midday heat. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to visit again soon! We heard about this place through (instagram) @vivacoimbra

The charming Hotel Rural Solar Das Freiras is situated in Figueiró dos Vinhos and features an outdoor pool. Free wireless internet access is available and breakfast is included. Really friendly and helpful staff, traditional breakfast and central location for local restaurants. Will definitely stay again and would recommend to others. Thank you to the staff for a lovely stay.

Sete Quintas is a set of watermills and an olive oil press that were converted into a peaceful rural accommodation in Retorta, Miranda do Corvo. The in-house restaurant serves local cuisine. everything was perfect! the tranquility of the place, the cuisine of the great chef Carlos! his kindness and his precious advice to discover the region were there! assured disconnection

Nag-aalok ng restaurant, matatagpuan ang Natura Glamping sa Alcongosta, 7.5 km ang layo mula sa Fundão. Available ang libreng WiFi access sa tented camp na ito. We were greeted by Bruno who went out of his way to make sure our check in process was as good as it can be, and in general every staff member we encountered was nice. The place is absolutely gorgeous, from the dome itself inside and out and to the other facilities like the dining room which served wonderful food both for breakfast and dinner. The place has a lovely pool in which we swam twice in our one night stay - worth it even though the water is far from warm :) Definitely recommend
