The breakfast was exceptional, very traditional and with local products. The staff was lovely and provided us with a wonderful road trip to do nearby.

El Casas dos Carregais se encuentra en Carregais, a 25 km de Proença a Nova y a 35 km de Castelo Branco. El alojamiento está situado a 28 km de Vila Velha de Ródão. We were very comfortable here in this quiet village. The beds are comfortable and the place was very clean. We all enjoyed exploring and hiking around, including our 12 and 16 year old kids. We devoured the daily fresh bread. Olga and Roy were helpful and friendly. We had a delicious meal at Casa Ti Augusta.

Quinta de Vale Escuro dispone de piscina de temporada al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza en Lousã. We enjoyed the quiet countryside where Quinta de Vale Escuro is located and the beautiful property. We also enjoyed the swimming pool each afternoon. Our hosts were very accommodating, despite our language challenges. Thank goodness for Google Translate! One last note - our previous accommodation was canceled by the host due to illness, and this booking was accepted with only one hour notice. We are very grateful for that!

You will stay in beautifully appointed accommodation with views to die for and a hostess that has anticipated anything you would need during your stay. It is a truly stunning area with so much to do and see, one of my favourite parts of Portugal. You will leave feeling rested and energized!

Entering this ancient xisto town with its steeps hills and adorable cobble stoned streets was incredible. Cars are parked at the entrance of the village, and we proceeded on foot for the next 100 meters to get to the room. It felt like traveling 100 years back into time, it was fantastic. The elevation of the location is pretty high, which means the views of the surrounding area are breathtaking. All you will hear here are birds chirping and the rustle of leaves. The staff is very welcoming and everyone made sure our room was tidy, and that we had everything we needed. The breakfast options are numerous and the quality was very good. Having access to a pool was refreshing in the midday heat. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to visit again soon! We heard about this place through (instagram) @vivacoimbra

El Natura Glamping se encuentra en Alcongosta, a 7,5 km de Fundão, y alberga un restaurante. Este tented camp cuenta con balcón, terraza y conexión WiFi gratuita. We were greeted by Bruno who went out of his way to make sure our check in process was as good as it can be, and in general every staff member we encountered was nice. The place is absolutely gorgeous, from the dome itself inside and out and to the other facilities like the dining room which served wonderful food both for breakfast and dinner. The place has a lovely pool in which we swam twice in our one night stay - worth it even though the water is far from warm :) Definitely recommend
