Palace is on a bank of very beautiful and big lake. It has spirit of those times when dukes where walking around, you can imagine that it was busy life going there on its origin times. It was so pleasant, calm, warm and cozy even in cold rainy November day. Very nearby there is kids playground too.

Zegrze Reservoir, also known as Zegrze Lake (or Zalew Zegrzyński or Jezioro Zegrzyński in Polish), is well known as a relaxing weekend destination for residents of Warsaw. Hotel 500 has also made it a centre of business tourism, with its excellent facilities, high-quality accommodation, good service and quiet yet convenient location. The room was compact but clean. The super efficient air-conditioning was a god send! The housekeepers were efficient, very helpful, and always polite and cheery! The facilities were great, lots to do and the perfect location for either an exciting watersports filled holiday or a relaxing retreat! Both the breakfast and restaurant were exceptional. The buffet breakfast had something for everyone. I tried to be healthy with yoghurt, fruit, delicious bread, lean cold meat, fish, and salads with tasty dressing.. but I couldn't resist the crisp bacon, selection of sausage, and luscious scrambled eggs! Don't even get me started on the pastries, cakes, and crepes! Cereal is available, but honestly, there is so much else to try! Great coffee, teas, and juice top off this hearty breakfast perfectly! The restaurant opens for lunch right through to dinner. Words just don't do justice to the fantastic fare on offer here! Inventive menu with a distinctly Polish theme. My first experience of the vividly coloured Chłodnik is something I will never forget! It's just beautiful to eat with both your eyes and taste buds! The fish dishes should not be missed. Clever flavour combinations, perfect cooking techniques, make for a truly enjoyable gastronomic experience! The schabowy is the perfect example of a simple polish dinner, served with no unnecessary fanfare. This is the benchmark all other schabowy should be judged by! The ribs are bbq perfection! All thoughts of visiting other restaurants during our stay swiftly disappeared once we discovered just how great the onsite restaurant was! The restaurant staff are attentive without being intrusive, efficient, and friendly. A real credit to the hotel! The same can be said for all the staff we encountered during our stay! Is the hotel a little "tired" around the edges? Yes. But it's unrealistic to expect a brand new, renovated room between guests! We are living in challenging financial times people!
