Situat în satul Skarsvåg, cea mai nordică aşezare din Norvegia, acest loc de campare oferă unităţi de cazare în căsuţe, la doar 2 km de emblematica stâncă Kirkeporten. Our cabin was clean and looked like on the photos. The cabin had 2 bunk beds, a table, 4 chairs, small fridge and two hotplates (which we didn't use). Shared kitchen and shower rooms were in a separate building a few steps away from our cabin. Kitchen was spacious and clean. Showers had warm water and were clean. The reception area also had a restaurant. The pizzas there tasted so good after an 8 hour hike.

We could not make it in time but they hid the keys for us - that really saved us! The thick curtains in summer are nice to darken the room in the night. A nice open air museum of Sami traditional culture is directly opposite.

Hytte Camp Nordkapp - Blue overlooks the North Cape plateau, just 2 km from the world’s northernmost fishing village of Skarsvåg. The site offers cottages with kitchenettes and private bathrooms. Location, cute cabin has everything (living room/kitchen, bathroom, bedroom) for travelers, easy checkin/out, parking in the front of a cabin, easy to see aurora, just in camping or the back hill.

Set by the harbour in central Honningsvåg, Scandic Bryggen offers free parking, free WiFi and rooms with a flat-screen TV. The North Cape Museum is a 10-minute walk away. Great location, friendly staff, good food

Set by the calm and peaceful Porsangerfjord, Hotel Repvåg is 56 km from Honningsvåg Airport. Each room comes with a desk, private bathroom with shower and a scenic view. It's a quiet bay. The hotel is a cozy fishing base located right on the pier. An ideal place to spend the night before or after visiting Nordkapp. Initially, we stayed here for two nights, but since we had a dream of sea fishing, we extended our stay for another extra day. We do not recommend booking the cheapest room, in this case it is better to take a higher category and it will still be inexpensive. Wi-fi worked right in the room (room 8). At our request, an electric kettle was brought to our room. Freshly caught fish is deliciously prepared in the hotel's restaurant. We advise you to try fish soup! We rented a boat without a captain and spent the whole day fishing on our own in the open sea. The owner of the hotel kindly told how to operate the boat, navigator and echo sounder, and also showed on the map the places where it is better to fish. We were also given comfortable fishing rods and other necessary equipment for rent. We were not disappointed and caught about 30-40 fish. The small ones were released into the sea, and took several large ones for dinner at 3-5 kg. At the end of the fishing trip, we were shown how to cut up the caught fish and cook it on coals right in the courtyard of the hotel. If you do not have the opportunity to rent a boat, then you can catch fish directly from the pier, so we caught a few small cod on a regular spinning for pike. For walking, you need to climb the hill directly behind the hotel across the road where there is a house with an antenna and walk along the paths until the end of this semi-island.
