We were very tired after a long drive & went to the reception to check in. The staff ( very pleasant, cheerful young lady Janina ) told us our booking was from the next day, she said she will sort it out & gave us an upgrade to a room with a panoramic view of the Fjords. Hospitality staff like her are the plus points for the property . We interacted with the founder of the hotel Ola, a very fine gentleman. The Jacuzzi with a view of the Fjords, complimentary Nespresso coffee machines everywhere, use of the washing machine and a dryer were very helpful. 🙏

The room is comfortable and very nice furnished. The view from the room is breath taking. There is a small refrigerator and tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast is excellent

Offering a barbecue and children's playground, Vinje Camping is located in Geiranger in the Møre og Romsdal Region. Hurtigruten Terminal Gerianger is 1.2 km away. The camping place had a nice bonfire place and each cabin was equipped with all amenities including a grill.

Offering a restaurant with home-made cuisine, Petrines Gjestgiveri is located in Norddal. This hotel offers simple rooms or a self-catering apartment with views of the fjord. The view was mixed with mountains, river and fjord. It was beautiful and relaxing. And of course food. It wasn't just good. Usually i find good food in Oslo but you need to search for it and usually its well known restaurants. But here food was on next level. I was eating Bolognese pasta and found my self thinking is this the best pasta i am eating right now? :) So don't think twice skip overpriced Geiranger hotel's and enjoy Petrines guests house :)

Just 15 km south of Stranda village, Overvoll Farm is a home stay situated a 15-minute drive from Hellesylt Ferry terminal and connections to Geiranger. It offers free WiFi and parking. Friendly staff with great tips! the house was super cute too

Angvik Gamle Handelssted is located by Tingvollfjorden in Nordmøre and offers a lakeside spa, free parking and stunning fjord views. Loved the setting, the quiet elegance, the lovely decor and furniture. Enjoyed the celebration of the generations of family having lived there in Angvik. The dining was exceptional and sophisticated. It was truly a memorable stay.

This hotel is located next to the Atlantic Ocean Road on the beautiful island of Håholmen. It offers unique fishing trips, sea safaris and boat cruises. Fantastic place with lots of history. Stayed in 300 year old room. Very good food in restaurant. Klippfisk was absolutely superb. Breakfast was very good with many choices hot and cold. Highly recommend to stay at this place if you travel the Atlanterhavsroad.

Scenically situated in the Romsdalen Valley, Hotel Aak is less than 5 km from the town of Åndalsnes. Free WiFi, bright rooms and an in-house restaurant complement this historic hotel. Thé breakfast was perfect with products of the country.And the dinner with guests of the hotel together around a huge table is nice
