Turtagrø Hotel has traditions dating back to the 1880s. This hotel is located 884 meters above sea level, at the foot of Vest-Jotunheimen. This is a fantastic location with some of the more interesting hiking and climbing routes in Norway, near the Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark. We choose the accomodation in the "Swiss chalet" and this allow us to save a lot of money :-) without losing the magnificence of the place and additional services provided by the hotel like for example the very good dinner (one of the best we have in Norway). The Chalet is really beautiful and extremely functional. Clean and full of services, like the shower and the drying room.

Zajazd ten usytuowany jest w zacisznej górskiej okolicy w dolinie Bøverdalen, tuż obok Parku Narodowego Jotunheimen. Obiekt oferuje restaurację oraz pokoje z widokiem na góry. The location was great as it’s on the way and not at one end of Sognefjellet. The view was beautiful. Great starting point for walks. The food was fantastic. Great chef! The staff and owner were available and helpful, and ensure I had anything I needed. The room was simple and comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. The fireplace in the lobby area was great.
