Boasting garden views, Hagen offers accommodation with patio, around 28 km from Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park. Everything met our expectation. Although we arrived very late, we received the warmest of welcomes. We stayed in the old yellow farm house and it was well equiped and comfy. There is also a picture perfect lake 200m from the house, if you want to go for a swim. we would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was located right by the water, and we had a nice view firm our window. The breakfast buffet was amazing with many great choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Thon Hotel Norge is newly renovated, and all rooms and meeting facilities, as well as the reception and restaurant has been upgraded. BREAKFAST,WAS OK LOTS TO CHOOSE FROM VERY NICE ,GOOD DINNING AREA. LOCATION, WAS IN THE TOWN SO HAD TO PARK THE CAR IN THE HOTEL CAR PARK WHICH WAS NEXT DOOR TO THE HOTEL ENTRANCE WHICH WORKED FINE. ROOM, WAS FINE BUT NO PLUG IN THE BATHROOM SINK,

Boasting quiet street views, Gjestehuset IBSEN provides accommodation with balcony, around 2.3 km from Groos Badeplass Beach. It is practically next door to the Ibsen museum. Wonderful antique furniture throughout the hotel, adorable!

These cottages are located in Rysstad village in the Setesdal Valley. All feature wooden interiors, a well-equipped kitchen. Brokke Alpine Centre is a 10-minute drive away. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was delicious and the drinks were great too! Room was super comfy and bathrooms were clean.

This Bjørnvåg waterfront property is 15 km from central Farsund. It offers free WiFi and modern accommodation with North Sea views, a washing machine and fully equipped kitchen. The location is amazing! Right on the water and lots of amenities. Its a 15 minute drive to both farsund and Lyngdal. Having the entire house made it feel more like home. Kitchen was well stocked. We ate at the restaurant and had burgers and fish and chips. Both were excellent!

Set by the seaside in the picturesque Risør town centre, Risør Hotel offers free Wi-Fi and room with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom with bath or shower. Risør Aquarium is 50 metres away. The room was lovely, warm and really clean. The breakfast was delicious, especially the crispy bacon and eggs! The reception was lovely but as it was quiet season it was only open to allow us to check in. The location is wonderful, right on the water and close to bars and restaurants.

Set within 5 minutes’ drive of Hovden Ski Centre & Water Park, Hovdestøylen offers rooms and self-catering apartments with free WiFi, flat-screen TVs and sofas. I like the area around Hovden. The hotel is very good, indeed. The restaurant is good too. We are looking to visit again and to spend more time in the area.
