Monika, the host, was extremely helpful during both preparation for the trip and our stay in Vis. She sent us a video about how to find the apartment--it was the first time I received the arrival instructions in such a great format! The apartment is just a couple of hundred meters from the ferry port--once you get off the ferry, it's a 5-minute walk. A big plus--you don't need to climb any hills to get there. Monika met us at the door with the warmest smile and even though we only stayed one night, she was helpful with every little bit of anything that we asked for (and often before we even asked). The apartment is in an excellent condition. It has all you need to feel at home. In the morning, we could leave our luggage for several hours before we took the bus to Komizha. The apartment's location allows you to get pretty much anywhere in Vis on foot.

The Hotel San Giorgio is a charming, small and family-run hotel on the island of Vis, 60 km off the Dalmatian coast, and can be found in the historical centre of the city of Vis. This place is gorgeous! The food is excellent and the people are kind and hospitable.

Probably one of the best location you can get in Komiža, first row old stone buiding with impressive sea view from most of the rooms (we had the smallest acomodation for two persons and view was breathtaking every morning). You can fall asleep with the sound of the waves. The owner Tanja was very polite, the place was very clean. A beach nearby (Lucica) was our favorite place to swim, dive and refresh in nice beach bar with fair prices.
