Chambres d'hôtes La Gargaille is set in the Petite Montagne du Jura region, just 10 km from Lons-le-Saunier. It offers wooden chalets with a private terrace, surrounded by 100-year-old trees. Very lovely place, almost a fairytale hut in the middle of a small forest; the guests were very verry nice, the place is very clean, the breakfast was delicious, we enjoyed and appreciated a lot that we were served local products. I highly recommend the place.

At first we were a bit afraid for the potential noise of the water during the night (I am a light sleeper), but the room had an exceptional soundproofing. The city center is at 5 minutes walk, so it is possible just to leave the car in public parking nearby and enjoy your visit by walking. The room was really spacious and decorated with taste. The bathroom was also really spacious. All in all, we really did enjoy our stay at this hotel.

Hotel in the village centre surrounded by restaurants, bar, shops but surprisingly quiet at night. Had a good sleep :-) Free public carpark nearby- 2 mins walk Clean, comfortable room. A kettle in the room for tea, coffee. We had a nice dinner in the hotel, friendly happy staff. The lady at the reception was lovely, always smiled and we felt welcomed when we arrived. This was our first time in Les Rousses and sure we would be back. Nice place in the beautiful nature with lovely people :-)
