The property is 11 km from central Saariselkä, Kiilopää fell is 5 km away. We loved the clean comfy cabins which were cozy and well equipped. Janna and Mika are excellent hosts. We couldnt reccomend Polar Aurora Cabins any better! Frankly they are way better then the commercial accomodations out there and offer a ‘Home Away From Home’ experience. They make a perfect team and run the cabins like clockwork.

With a SKi bus that comes through regularly.Was worth the price. It also included all 3 meals complimentary.

Free WiFi, bed linen and towels are included. The house was lovely and modern and equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Little touches like the Christmas tree and having dishwasher tablets and detergents to use etc made a self catering stay a lot easier with a family. The house is a little way from the town centre if you are walking (as it’s very cold) but We had a car and it took 5 minutes and we loved the fact it was secluded and quiet but we could easily reach where we needed to go by car.

Free WiFi is available in the main building. We absolutely loved our stay in the Aurora Cabin. Food was incredible. I can honestly say it's the best food I've ever experienced on holiday. Everything was so fresh and it was a proper home cooked meal. I couldn't compliment the chefs enough. The excursions were so well organised, the staff were brilliant and very knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend the winter clothing. Such good value for money and zero hassle! I would recommend this place to anyone and would love to visit again in the future.

I loved everything about this trip. Your staff was wonderful and the front desk ladies were more than helpful! Breakfast was wonderful, as well as getting on the bus daily was so easy. Located on top of Kaunispää Mountain, Star Arctic Hotel is situated in Saariselka in the Finnish Lapland Region. Each room features large windows to view the surrounding nature and if lucky, the Northern Lights during winter. A shared sauna is also available. The hotel is on the top of the hill. The staff are very professional, attentive and friendly. The cabinet is with quarter glass, so we could view the sky clearly.

Traditional Lappish dishes are served in its award-winning restaurant. The size of the room was wonderful. The bathroom and sauna was very nice. Front desk staff was helpful.

It included a private spa, which we used several times and a wood-burning fireplace, which we used each day. We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin.
