The host picked us up at the airport and took us to the cabin. He took the time to talk us through everything about the surrounding area and discuss the activities we had scheduled in the coming days. They made sure we had a great stay. We owe our great vacation to their personal service! The cabin was also wonderful- it had everything we needed, was clean and warm and cozy. I can't say enough good things about this place and the host and hostess. The accommodation alone was worth a great rating and if you want a personal experience and like meeting local people- this is would be an amazing choice.

The hotel was on top of the Kaunispaa fell which is the best place to see aurora in Saariselka and also has magnificant view. It is also very close to the ski centre that offers excellent ski and snowboarding opportunities. You need to make reservation for Kaunis Restourant. It is worth it with excellent taste of dishes. We stayed in aurora cabin. Very clean and comfy. Best view in day and night. There was so many options in breakfast.

This hotel is located along the Ivalo River in Ivalo town centre. It offers three buildings for accommodation, free parking and sauna access. The size of the room was wonderful. The bathroom and sauna was very nice. Front desk staff was helpful.
