Most rooms include a balcony. the owner and staffs were so friendly, it felt like stay in home. the room was extremely clean, as well as the facilities. there was a nice garden with a great view from our room, which made it a perfect staycation. it was a short walk to reach the lake, and it was beautiful. the breakfast was nice as well, you can request cooked-egg and tea for hot meal. and as always, your breakfast will come with a great view.

Das Tegernsee offers rooms within the Art Nouveau-style Sengerschloß castle and in its neighbouring buildings. All rooms include a modern bathroom with bathrobes and hairdryer. EVERYTHING! We loved it. We had rented the Junior Suite and loved it. The breakfast was lush and had everything one could ask for! We went in the wintertime, and with the snow all around it was like a fairytale. On top of the hill overseeing the lake was amazing as well as the mountains on the side. Appreciated the Spa! and the Saunas. We also liked that the different buildings were connected and you had to walk to get around. We would like to highlight the hospitality of the staff as well.

Small touches like fresh fruit and brass keys instead of those hideous cards made it extra special. The dinner was one of the best we had in all of Germany, and the breakfast buffet with homemade breads and yogurts was wonderful. Loved that it was dog-friendly, even though our dog was not with us. The goats (sheep?) grazing on the pasture directly behind the hotel were the perfect Alpine touch. The entire family loved our time here.

Charming and spacious apartment with a lovely view from the big balcony. The location was great.. a short stroll to the main streets of Bad Wiessee and the lake. Peaceful too. The space was perfect for two people.. large comfy bed, lots of wardrobe space, great bathroom and simple but fine kitchen (pans, Hob, kettle, fridge). I think we loved the balcony the best. Even when it rained, as the roof extended out.

Breakfast service was great, and so was the covered pool area. It's in an amazing location, quiet and has all the comforts one could think of for a short-to-long stay. Owner/ Adolphine team are amazing people, and they were extremely accommodating with all our requests. We will surely be getting back again, around winter break next time.

The Hotel Bachmair Alpina in Rottach Egern offers country-style accommodation with a terrace or balcony and mountain views. Location is great, just 2 mins to the Tegernsee centre. We really enjoyed the view from our room! We stayed as a family with 2 kids. There were 2 spacious rooms that allowed us to have comfy stay. The owner was great host trying to help with any request.
