This family-run guest house is quietly situated in Stadt Wehlen in the heart of the Saxon Switzerland National Park, directly below the world-famous Bastei rock formation. Great place overall. Very nice location along the river below the park. The highlight was the warm and welcoming owner and the lovingly set up breakfast room. Excellent food and lots of nice choices. No detail was missed and it made for a special start to the day.

This accommodation lies directly opposite the Zwinger Palace and pond, near the Semper Opera and Dresden's other historic attractions. Good location close to many of the attractions and 2 supermarkets within a couple of minutes walking. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment, so enjoyed extra space. Apartment is super new with good facilities including a small terrace and garden. The checkin went very quickly and the staff were very helpful with a couple of queries.

Hotel und Restaurant Bühlhaus is situated only a 3-minute walk from the Badegarten sauna theme park and is surrounded by the Erzgebirge mountains and forests. A breakfast buffet is also provided. I loved the location, right outside town so nature was all around. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The food in the restaurant was excellent and we ate in both nights. They even cooked goat cheese which I brought with me, because we don't have it in my country. They have a beautiful outside space to eat but it was too cold for us to sit there in the evening. However it is a great place for lunch or afternoon coffee. The atmosphere is more of a warm home than an impersonal hotel.

Super friendly staff that helped us store our bikes and recommended options for sightseeing. The room was a nice studio, just about the right size for me and my buddy. Having a well-equipped kitchen in there was a nice bonus. And the shower head was awesome! I also really liked having a fan in the studio, which helped with drying clothes on wet days.
