Surrounded by green fields and apple orchards only 1 km from Lake Murten, the Château Salavaux dates from 1594. Fantastic and easy to access location. Super well renovated and taken care off. Just a lovely stay with warm service and ambient.

Housed in a historic building first mentioned in 1396, where such famous people as Casanova and Goethe once stayed, the Hotel Adler enjoys a central location in the Old Town of Murten. We love this boutique hotel to pieces. It is not the first time we stayed here and it's definitely not gonna be the last. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. We had a big room overlooking the main pedestrian street. The room was clean, nicely decorated and quiet. The bed was very comfy. We appreciated the coffee and tea facilities in the room. We also appreciated a lot the bar on the ground floor that served very good beer and very good flammkuchen until relatively late. Parking is very easy to find if one follows the hotel instructions. We positively regretted that we only booked one night.

This 3-star Murtenhof & Krone hotel in a Medieval patrician residence in the old town of Murten features a terrace with a wonderful view of Lake Murten. A very nice hotel with an excellent location, the reception staff very friendly. Breakfast was good and the view from the restaurant in the mornings is perfect.

Situated in Murten, 24 km from Bern, Schloss Münchenwiler features free WiFi access. Private parking is available on-site. Authentic character and charm. The entire staff could not have been nicer— Patrick was amazing! It was a rare chance to stay in a castle with amazing grounds, just a mile away from historic Murten - Morat. We loved every minute of our stay!
