The family-owned 5-star Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is located right in the Old Town of Lucerne, next to the lake. It offers a spa area and elegant rooms with modern furniture. Family-run hotel where you feel like a very welcomed guest. Majestic historic building, but very cosy. Very nice staff. I liked very much the history wall of the hotel. And very good restaurant. Everything was perfect and it was difficult to leave!

Housed in a former Guild Hall, the Hotel des Balances enjoys a picturesque location on the Reuss river in the heart of Old Lucerne. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Gorgeous hotel right on the lake with an amazing view. We had the spa room and it was amazing with a spa bath, sauna and jet shower. The rooms are very spacious and very clean with thoughtful touches like complimentary chocolates and l’occitane toiletries. The bed was so comfortable I had the best night’s sleep.

This place was exceptional for me. Very warm hospitality. I enjoyed the seasonally of dishes offered at the restaurant. Breakfast was also nice and comfort. I should visit place earlier.

The family-run Seehotel Gotthard in Weggis on the shore of Lake Lucerne, 25 km from Lucerne, offers 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, a bistro and rooms with scenic views and free WiFi. Everything! Nice staff, location, view.

Opening in December 2016, Boutiquehotel Anker Luzern is located in a historical building in the centre of Luzern, right on the Pilatusplatz square. The location was perfect. Easy walk from the train station and to the city centre.

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Location, design, hospitality, original place!

Very easy to check in and check out. Central location, easy to find. Nice and cosy big room, with fridge and coffee/tea maker. Comfort beds.
