Great hotel at a beautiful lakeside location with excellent service. Food was great and service was up to expectations. Overall it was an outstanding experience. Highly recommended for all kinds of travelers.

Overlooking Neuchatel's rooftops or Lake Neuchatel, Hotel Alpes & Lac is opposite the main train station. It offers comfortable rooms and free Wi-Fi. Beliggenheten var fantastisk. Jeg hadde ikke booket rom med utsikt over sjøen men ble gratis og uoppfordret oppgradert til det. Utsikten over sjøen og over til de høye Alper var fantastisk. Rommet var i øvrig rommelig og rent. Sengen noe hard, men grei. Wifi'en var til gjengjeld noe treg. Et ekstra pluss er at man ved oppholdet får vouchers til parkeringskjelleren rett over for hotellet samt til offentlige transportmidler (inklusive rutebådene) og til museene som det er flere av i byen.

Excellent breakfast - possibly the first time I have really enjoyed eating a continental breakfast, but that also has something to do with the relaxed atmosphere and the surroundings.
