The staff was very kind. We arrived earlier around lunchtime and we could check in earlier as well. The room was a good size, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The family-run GAIA Hotel Basel can be found right across from Basel Main Train Station, only a 10-minute walk from the historic city centre. Nice quiet hotel in city center, close to transportation. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were nice. Definitely recommended;)
