Located directly at the shore of Lake Traun, Seegasthof Hois'n Wirt offers a private beach area and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Very professional and friendly staff. Rooms and entire facility was very clean. Excellent location with lake just a thought of the stone away. Facility offers the beach towels for the guests. Many hiking trails with great variety of difficulty around the hotel and Traunsee. There is a boat stop in front of hotel to take a trip on lake or connect with hiking trails in the other side of the lake and visit Gmundent town center. Facility offers excellent breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Really great experience!

Located on the shore of Lake Traunsee, with direct lake access, Das Traunsee - Das Hotel zum See is situated in the centre of Traunkirchen in the Salzkammergut, 10 km from Gmunden. We loved the views, the spa area and general calm of the hotel. The chef is absolutely incredible and still has us raving about the dinners we had.

Just 1,000 metres from the Toscana Congress Centre and Seeschloss Palace, the Aktivhotel Wildschütz in Salzkammergut was renovated in 2015 and offers quiet rooms with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi and... very good self check in. excellent sauna and steam room with an outside area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the wood, modern architecture mixed with classic mountain hut vibe.

Located in the centre of Altmünster, this hotel was renovated in March 2017 and is only 200 metres from the Traunsee lake and the promenade. Staff was amazing! We booked last minute and the lady was patient and extremely helpful after there was a glitch in the reservations.

This 4 star hotel is set in the centre of Traunkrichen. The hotel offers accommodation with lake views, a restaurant, a terrace and a garden. Very good location, the private parking (at a fee) makes things a bit easier. Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was exceptional, a la carte dinner was really great too. Extra bed for the kids made things easier.

Excellent and comfy beds, very clean rooms and the whole hotel. The view from the window was amazing. Close to the beach - about 10-15 minutes walking. Very friendly staff!
