Staff makes you feel that they work only for you with their care and attentions for the smallest details, lovely pool surrounding the villa in panorama style, for sure will stay again. You experience living in the jungle with clean and safe environment. Even you are in the forest but you dont see animals or lizards inside the rooms as long as you keep doors closed. Value for money, Lizards can be seen outside the villa and they do nothing and harmless and as long doors closed they dont enter the villa.

One of our favorite places for a relaxing holiday during European winter. We stayed at Amatara for the third time in the past few years and will be happy to come again. The staff is extremely nice, friendly and welcoming, food is delicious (there are 3 restaurants at the hotel, and you can find several local restaurants close by), fantastic spa. I particularly enjoyed doing yoga at one of the decks with an amazing view on the ocean. I practiced yoga by myself to see the sunrise but the hotel also offers a variety of yoga and fitness courses (comes at extra charge though). You can go for a walk to the cape panwa close by and see the sunset and grab something to eat. We loved it truly, thanks to the whole amatara team!

If you're looking for a place to chill, away from the party beaches like Patong, this place is a little slice of heaven. Rooms were great and comfortable. The two pools are a good size and are kept very clean. There's enough choice at the breakfast buffet and the restaurant serves up great food for lunch too. While the location is out of the way (read: private) things like Phuket old town or Central mall are easily accessible using the hotel's taxi service. Biggest two thumbs up for the friendly, welcoming and excellent staff who made us feel at home during our stay.
