In short, everything. The staff are all very kind and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location is great--peaceful and quiet, save for the obnoxious snorkel tour boats that tie up off the beach and blare extremely loud music for no reason, which is no fault of the property.

We rented two bungalows (a deluxe one and a standard one), both comfortable and well equipped, spotlessly cleaned every day. The staff was super nice and efficient, taking care of guests needs. Food in the restaurant was good, including the New Year buffet, good value for money. Breakfast had an ample choice of savory Western and Asian options and fruit (adding a couple of sweets would be great). The beach was clean and beautiful with an ample swimming area cordoned off so boats could not approach. The owner / manager was personally overseeing, enquiring about each and every guest wellbeing and solving any issue with a care, attentiveness and efficiency you would find in a 5 stars hotel.

The Ao Cho Grandview Hideaway Resort on Koh Samet is pure paradise. The staff's warm welcome, breathtaking sea-view rooms, and pristine private beach left me in awe. I don’t know from where to start! I needed a few days of full relax and reality was above my expectations. The staff was extremely nice and efficient. The beach is few steps from the rooms with enough bed-chairs for everybody. The rooms are big and comfortable with amazing view. For people with limited mobility, it is recommended to ask for a room with beach access. The others are just few steps away ( reachable with stairs). The hotel doesn’t have a gym or spa but the clients can use the facilities or the resort next door, including taking a shower at the spa before jumping on the boat that take you to the ao prao pier. The food at the restaurant was very good and the staff very efficient.

Loved the style of the rooms, super comfortable beds, delicious breakfast included, staff were friendly and helpful and respectful. Public restrooms at the beach beautiful, clean and in good working order. Bean bags and hats on the beach so much fun!! Great setup! And close to party places, but far enough if I wanted to sleep early without noise. Beautiful beautiful water feature with the koi fish outside the rooms. The whole place felt so calm and peaceful.
