Martina is the best host. Her family makes wondefrful wine which they have for sale at great prices. The outdoor kitchen is a great asset with lots to drink in the cooler for guests. The hotel is sparkling clean. The views from the terrace are out of this world and the location, walking distance to the center of town along with parking on site made our trip to Piran perfect All the places we stayed in Slovenia were wonderful but Guesthouse Opara and Piran have a special place in my heart.

Loved the room with a view over the historic marina and a lovely balcony where we enjoyed local wines; the great, helpful people at Reception, and especially loved our evening drinks and dinner at the upper bar with views to die for. Liked the art and the location so easy to access the town. And…what an awesome town with such history and great swimming right off the main walkway next to the Adriatic. We were here in 1983 when it was a small fishing village, but still love it. What a great way to spend our 40th anniversary!
