Multiple terraces, sitting rooms and reading nooks for relaxing. Beautiful garden and pool. Fabulous breakfast in family setting with local produce including bananas and pineapples. Staff was most friendly and cheerful, happy to help out with any requests. All amenities within walking distance.

Extremely quiet location - far from all the noise (with the exception of sea waves - which are pleasant though). The hotel is spacious, and the surroundings (greenery) are well maintained. The staff is very friendly. Since it gets dark quite quickly in the winter, we had fun playing billiards and table tennis in the evening.

There is also a wonderful living room to relax in or have a drink. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the woman helping us with breakfast was lovely. It was also very romantic!

We do :-) There are four of them all the time, often 3 or 4 guest cats as well. Sometimes there come around some chicken, too. The garden is full of fruit trees. A welcome fruit basket was provided when we arrived. Kitchen is well equipped, so we were able to prepare the fresh fish we bought at the next Pingo doce supermarket. Absolutely quiet. Very recommended.

House was clean and had everything we needed. Just for information, house is located outside of the central area and a bit uphill. But it’s not a big issue if you have a car or if you enjoy walking in general. It takes around 30min by walking from the city center.
