Our stay at the guesthouse was absolutely delightful. From the exceptional hospitality of the hostess to the magnificent breakfast made from fresh local produce, particularly the homemade dishes by Fatima herself, every aspect exceeded our expectations. Our child even likened the experience to that of a five-star hotel, only much cozier. When we return to San Miguel, we will definitely choose to stay here again. Additionally, the location was charming, and easily accessible by car.

Clean, great location, serves breakfast, has a bar, parking lot, views, owner on premises. So happy we Got a last minute booking here when the small hotel in town we originally were booked in was very uncomfortable— room/ lobby very warm and no AC. Being on top of a hill, THIS hotel is very comfortable with mountain breezes and wonderful view with slider to balcony and many other outdoor seating areas.

We loved it from the first moment - its architecture is unique and genuine - it perfectly complement lovely city of Povoacao. There are peaceful beach and harbour in front of the hotel. We saw many fancy and overcrowded hotels around the world, compared to them this one has true character and when you seek place to relax, this is it. :)

There's not lots going on but it has everything you need to have a lovely time - a couple of restaurants, a pool, a nice beach. The hotel is in a great location, right on the harbour so we could sit on the balcony and watch the world go by. The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast is nice. The pool area is good with a lovely and hot jacuzzi. We ate at the bar too which was tasty and a reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel!SarahFamily with young children

She also upgraded my room as I was the only one there, so I had a beautiful view of the mountains. Whole place was really comfortable and clean, and I felt safe in the house and area even though I was the only guest. The breakfast was really fantastic, so much on offer including delicious homemade jam. I would definitely stay again!
