the location: it was right in the middle of everything - close to the parliament, royal palace, shops, street food, aker bridge, train station (within minutes by foot). even though it is in the center, the street is quiet, right behind Grand Hotel. the breakfast - diverse and amazing. whether you like eggs, fruits, pancakes, sweets, cheese, cutlery - you have everything the room is quite large, sot beds and the temperature just right.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from the Royal Palace, Hotel Oslo Guldsmeden’s own rooms are elegantly styled with quality furnishings. Each one features a unique combination of luxury Balinese-style décor and Sami-inspired pelts. The rooms are equipped with TVs, digital radios and organic bathroom products.

It was our first time in Oslo, so we had no idea which neighborhood is better and so on, but we are super happy we chose this hotel! 1. It's eco-friendly hotel, and I really love that! That means we had eco breakfast, eco materials, and so on. By the way, the room was full of local gel showers, soap, lotions, and such stuff which were really great! And we even got a cute bottle as a welcome pack, and we could pour the water there and drank from that as the water was super clean. Wonderful! 2. Breakfast was wonderful! A bit pricey but so beautiful and delicious! Waffles with blueberries, salmon, eggs, ham, cheese... If only you could add some pancakes! 3. The staff was very nice, thank you very much! 4. And I was in love with our room! Of course, more space would be appreciated, but still it was cool. Bed was comfy, everything was super clean, and the fact that there was a music speaker made me happy, we turned on our favorite music a lot. Nice and beautiful room, awesome! And it feels like you're staying somewhere in the mountains for some reason.

Perfect location, the staff in the hotel are so helpful. We were upgraded to another room, I believe, a superior room, and what a lovely room on the 20th floor with fantastic views. The breakfast was outstanding, worth the money, and fantastic options to choose from. My husband and I would most definitely stay again when we return to Oslo, a fabulous city. Love it! ❤️

Staff were incredible, particularly Kenneth who arranged for a lovely surprise as we were in Oslo for our honeymoon. Nothing was a problem for the staff. The breakfast was large and outstanding selection and quality - it was packed with what seemed to us as locals on the weekend for breakfast.

Lovely hotel close to everything in Oslo. The hotel itself is delightfully, ambiently and quirkily decorated - a cross between an arty inner-city pad, a posh hotel and your favourite aunt's very cool house. It felt comfortably relaxing, homely and welcoming yet still like an upmarket hotel. The top floor suite which comfortably catered for two adults and our adult daughter, was a great size with a good view over the city. We only had two nights but could easily have spent a week...next time.

These are lovely serviced apartments. Far more care are going into this chain than say, Frogner Apartments. Beautifully furnished, fully equipped kitchens, comfortable beds, great, responsive staff. My first room had howling pipes in the bathroom. I was moved - and upgraded - very quickly, and with no fuss. I also really like the communal living space on the ground floor. Great place to meet friends or make new friends among fellow travelers. All in all a very pleasant experience. Super quiet hotel with thick walls.
