Our room was perfect and had a little patio which was nice. We had a lovely walk around town and then took in the wonderful smorgasbord at the Kviknes Hotel for which we received a discount as the Balestrand Hotel booked the table for us (the food was amazing - especially the dessert!). Top experience was that the "breakfast not included" was actually coffee and croissants which we ate outside, overlooking the fjord. Perfect!

Staff was always helpful . Also the town itself was so lovely to walk around especially in the shoulder season, it was so peaceful. It was the relaxing getaway I truly needed..NathanSolo traveler
