Rooms were above the busy bar bistro which was a great place to eat and drink. The room was superb, huge bed facing an open bathroom area with double sink and walk in shower. The owner even carried my wife’s bags up to the room when checking us in. As we were cycle touring we needed some where safe to put our bikes. The arrangement they have with the big hotel round the corner worked really well. From their reception I got a key card to access a secure bike garage in n a neighbouring street, for 5 euros a night.

Perfect location and great communication with the host. We were only a 3 minutes from the bus stop and a short walk to great shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend for anyone coming to Texel :)

The hotel can be easily reached by the bus with a shirt walk. The staff was very friendly, easy check in procedure and our room was earlier ready than expected. Very good breakfast with salty and sweet alternatives and both cold and hot dishes. Very quiet during night. We also had a balcony with a small table and chairs and a nice view. It is near to the beaches and the dune park, and a shirt bike trip to Ecomare. You can also park your bike.

1) location, it is amazing! It's 20 min walking to the beach, 10 min - to the city center and 5 min to the bus stop. At the same time the hotel is next to a field and a park, so surrounded by nature. 2) design. It is stylish and nice, but also functional in small details. E.g. mirror in the bathroom does not fog up completely after shower is used; shower gel is in the dispenser, mattress & pillows are comfortable, AC is silent and so on. Overall, every comfortable room! 3) personnel. Very welcoming, attentive and helpful. It was a real pleasure to stay there thanks to great people. 4) breakfast. Big variety of breads (incl. delicious croissants), pancakes, bacon, cured salmon, fresh fruit, cereal and so much more. Coffee was delicious too. Although we booked the hotel just to stay overnight, but we really enjoyed it there and wished we could stay longer!

The property was amazing. We stayed in the ground floor apartment which was lovely and clean, with all the facilities we needed and very comfortable beds. Lovely to have a little outdoor seating area too to relax. The location was ideal, peaceful and quiet but only a short cycle from town and well sited to explore the island. Paul and Pein were lovely too, and very welcoming with drinks and snacks on arrival. Would definitely return!
