Perfect location, sparklingly clean rooms, great breakfasts but the staff really made the whole holiday extra special. They were kind, attentive, knowledgeable and so very friendly. I lost my bag with my passport in it and they were super understanding helping me get it back! I wish all hotel staff were so invested in their guests well-being. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast on the rooftop deck was wonderful. Lots of variety in the breakfast offerings. The location was absolutely perfect, walkable to restaurants, shops and the harbor. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Well equipped and fitted out, incl the kitchen. The back and front garden are great spaces to relax. The hosts are very friendly and most helpful. The location is fabulous, completly quiet. Only 5 minute walk to the top of the old city and down to the harbour and commercial section. On the map it doesnt look that central due to the route of roads but by foot it certainly is due to alley ways. Highly recommended, cant go wrong.

We were a family of 3 and perfect for our stay. Breakfast was nice with lovely fresh homemade cake for breakfast. There are fridges/freezer facilities that are shared along with kitchen facilities (we did not use these). We loved sitting outside admiring the view and the stars at night. It was nice to have air con.

They helped me with directions and where to go to find food. I had left my favourite pants in Bergamo and they picked them up for me to save me from spending my day going back to Bergamo by train to collect them. On my second night my room was upgraded to the second floor which had a lovely view. The hotel is very close to the town and train station so all in easy walking distance. He gave us all the information we could ask for regarding places to see, beaches, restaurants and bars. Michele was very generous in offering us a complimentary upgrade for our room and it was a gorgeous room. Could not fault our whole experience. One night was definitely not long enough to explore and further experience this island, the friendly locals and this great property. Would highly recommend Auquamadre Suites!

The room was confortable, clean and stylishly decorated. Michele was an incredible host, very attentive, informative and always on hand for anything we needed. Would definitely recommend this place!

The restaurant was closed the evening we arrived, but thankfully a wonderful member of staff made a real effort and provided us with salami, ham, cheese, melon and a bottle of wine. A perfect start of our stay. The pool is in perfect condition, large and beautiful.
