What can I say. The young receptionist called Elena (I think that was her name) was friendly and helpful and funny and her English was impeccable. She described in detail the exact explanation on the maps of the old city. Thanks to all the staff. Also Dora who gave me a leg massage. Everything about the hotel was perfect and at the moment remains the best hotel I have stayed in in the last 3 months.

The room was perfectly located just north of old town and the main area of Split (5-7min walk). Out of 6 different stays, this had the most comfortable bed. We were able to easily walk to Marjan Park and the main Riva district in front of old town. The host and host's mother (host just had newborn) were very welcoming with the mother offering/bringing us an organic sage juice while we were outside enjoying the patio and this was not prompted at all! Host was sure to make sure newborn was not fussy during the night (or moved to location to where we couldn't hear). Once you connect with host on booking.com, definitely use whatsapp for texting using the '+' in front of number (being from USA, didn't know to initially include the plus). Using whatsapp, host provided video with easy instructions on how to find where to stay as the area is a tad confusing. We had a rental car and were able to park for free along the park (look for blue 'P' signs) mentioned above located on Liskinskog (43.509782, 16.428731) and it was about a 5-7 minute walk from there. Host was very welcoming considering the newborn and would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Split. Excellent stay!
