wonderful apartment, only a few meters from car park, but also right next to old ruins in town. ground floor so it’s great if you have luggage. the room itself is beautiful, ancient ceilings with modern amenities. wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The staff/owner was amazing! He carried our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast buffet had everything you could want (including homemade strudel)! Facilities were clean, quiet and comfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff, beatiful view from the room, lovely breakfast and a tasty but not uptight fine dining restaurant, offering lovely cocktails and a wide selection of local wines and delicacies. The hotel is constantly developing new infrastructure for guests and has been taking care to maintain the facilities in good condition.

The private patio was wonderful to sit in for a morning brew and a relaxing evening drink after the sightseeing. It’s a short walk to the main town and everything is walkable across the main city. The host was a lovely man, Igur, who was super helpful in giving tips for what to do etc and also helped us park the car as it’s an awkward corner into the property!

The access to the garage is down a narrowish passage but perfectly manageable with a medium-sized car, and having a private garage was such a luxury in the part of the town where a street parking place - if you're lucky to find one - will set you back quite a bit. The location was perfect for my boyfriend and I, as we were backpacking and wanted Rijeka to be more of a beach/relaxing part of the holiday, and the best beach is literally 10 mins down the road. The room was lovely and cool (great AC which I couldn't say about other hotels we stayed in this trip) very happy about that. Could even use the kitchen which was very nice.
