It feels like a real home only you have the amazing Isle of Sky to go on wonderful adventures. Really, our favorite place of our whole trip to Scotland. Thanks for everything Gerry.

Each guest room at Braeside Guest Rooms has en suite facilities with a shower. The centrally heated rooms have a TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities.

Great location, walking distance from everything you need, restaurants and supermarket. The owner is super nice, she gave useful tips before our arrival about free parking 1 minute away. The room is very cozy, with great attention to details.

this was a beautiful property. It was more expensive than our other hotels in the Highlands but a real treat. It was nested away on a gorgeous property. Absolutely loved it. Restaurant was amazing.

    Clean , comfortable and friendly with great views and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast had homemade bread and scones with plenty to chose from and good coffee. Kirsty the host was friendly and supplied lovely homemade cakes in our room. I would struggle to find anything negative about our stay.

    Amazing property, beautifully furnished and decorated, utilising locally woven fabrics. Huge bed, with high quality bedlinen. Heating of the property exceptional and very quick. Superb bathroom - included bathrobes and luxury toiletries. Very quiet location. Well-appointed kitchen, with dishwasher. Lovely welcome package of goodies - thank you! Very useful ordinance survey wall map - made planning days out much easier. Useful selection of maps and walk books also available.

    The property, decor, textiles all relaxed luxury - just beautiful. Wonderful views and an outstanding breakfast. Hosts were attentive but not overbearing. Just a wonderful visit, wish we could have stayed a whole week including a whole day in those delicious beds and clawfoot baths!

    Views were stunning, very pleasant atmosphere, idea location (short walk into town). The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. They even upgraded our room as it was our honeymoon.

    A lovely place to stay. The location is just a few minutes from Portree. The room is spacious and warm. Very large and comfortable bathroom. Great for relaxing after hiking.

    Denise was a really wonderful host, we felt like staying at our friend's house. It was lovely to fall asleep listening to the waves and the sound of the rain. Wonderful full Scottish breakfast (both meat and vegetarian)! A very relaxing stay, wish we could have stayed longer.

    Food was great, staff were friendly and we were offered a free upgrade. Dog welcomed but not in public areas- fine. The public areas were done to a high standard and the room was comfortable with a lovely en-suite with very hot water. We had a decked balcony area outside which was great.

    Lovely quiet relaxing place and Rena who owns property was absolutely fantastic she was very very helpful she couldn't do enough for you .I would definitely recommend going to her place for somewhere to stay .Rena keeps her house immaculate we were in family room and we had our own shower room if I was ever back in skye I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Goldenhill.
